Graph view

The graph view visualizes a dataset's entities and the relationships between them.

Opening the graph

Open a dataset and click Graph in the sidebar. The graph opens beside the center pane, so the entity overview or the form you are editing stays in view, and it redraws after every change to the dataset. Click Graph again, or Close on the graph, to hide it. Whether the graph is open is remembered per browser, so a dataset you reopen comes back the way you left it.

Entities appear as nodes and relationships as edges, laid out as a force-directed graph. Fullscreen gives the graph the whole screen (Esc leaves), and New window opens it alone in a separate browser window, for a second screen.

  • Zoom and pan to move around the graph.
  • Toggle a hierarchical layout to arrange the graph by parent–child depth.
  • Node labels show the entity and its fields; zoom in to read field-level detail.

The graph is a read-only view. To change data, edit entities in the dataset editor — see Editing entities.
