- The hub's documentation — how the hosted version works
Metaseed helps research teams create, validate and share standardized metadata. It supports domain standards such as MIAPPE, ISA and Darwin Core, and the submission formats of repositories such as ENA, PRIDE and MetaboLights. Each standard becomes a guided form with automated checks and suggestions from controlled vocabularies. Researchers can import public records, export files in the format a repository expects, and compare or combine standards without programming. Metaseed runs in the browser (locally or on the hosted hub), from the command line, from Python, or through an AI assistant.
Metaseed writes every standard in one common form. That makes standards themselves something researchers can read, examine and compare side by side: which information two standards share, where they differ, and what combining them would require. Where no standard fits, a group can define its own or combine existing ones.
